PLANETARY BOUNDARIES

Environmental economists have been concerned with questions surrounding the valuation and management of natural resources for several decades now.To continue this work is crucial in times of unprecedented levels of population growth, global greenhouse gas emissions, and extreme weather events. We refuse to close our eyes to the disastrous effects of climate change. Instead, we want to further broaden the current economic discourse by introducing ecological economic perspectives.
